PhD Students Awards

 

To celebrate the 10th edition of the International Conference on Materials and Energy (ICOME 2026), the Organizing Committee is pleased to announce three awards dedicated to outstanding PhD students.

• €500 cash cheque offered by EMSF
• Free registration for the next ICOME conference

• €300 credit applicable to participation in ICOME 2027
• The credit may be used toward conference registration fees and travel expenses
• The award must be claimed during the next conference

•  Free registration for the next ICOME conference

 

To be eligible, candidates must:

• Be a PhD student
• Attend ICOME 2026 in person
• Deliver both an oral presentation and a poster presentation
• Prepare both the oral presentation and the poster according to the official conference templates
• Demonstrate a high-quality scientific presentation
• Respect the allocated presentation time
• Communicate clearly and effectively
• Answer questions from the audience and the jury satisfactorily

The jury will evaluate candidates based on:

• Scientific quality and originality of the work
• Clarity and organization of the oral presentation
• Quality and design of the poster
• Ability to communicate research findings effectively
• Quality of responses during the discussion session
• Compliance with the conference guidelines and presentation schedule

The decisions of the jury are final.
